Blase About Privacy?

This infographic from MDG Advertising provides context to my previous posts about online privacy and explains to some extent why the big social networks may be more blase about our privacy than we would like: We let them because we don't understand privacy settings: And we don't know how to protect ourselves and our personal information.

But it would be wrong to assume ignorance is the same as acceptance. People are anxious to have more control of their personal information on the social web and would share more on social networks if they felt they had better control over who saw what they choose to share.
