Actually there are more than three things for TV executives to be apprehensive about in this Ofcom Children and Parents: Media Use and Attitudes Report (from Econsultancy) of the media behaviour of 12-15 year olds in the UK.
What will they do with this?
- Kids spend as much time on the Internet as they do watching television.
- Tablet use among 12-15 year olds in the UK at least has increased threefold in the past year, which likely means a further shift in the Internet's favour in the Internet|TV use ratio.
- Only 17% would miss TV most, compared with 53% of girls who would miss their smartphone.
