Teaching Social Media

The highest activity a human being can attain is learning for understanding, because to understand is to be free.

I'd be less than honest, and certainly not humble, had I used the words of seventeenth century philosopher Baruch Spinoza to describe in this video what I try to do as an instructor in 'social media for public relations' at Ryerson University in Toronto. 

The interview is part of a marketing campaign by the university and gets at what I think an "instructor" does — or at least should do. 'Understanding' is sometimes a satisfying outcome.
